Industries
Non-Woven / Fabrics
Important Considerations
Our work in this industry is similar to projects completed in the Pulp & Paper industry and many of the processes we use are the same. Our expertise in handling edge trim and large webs is especially valuable in this industry. As is true with the paper industry, materials often have to be transported over long distances and systems require sophisticated electronic controls. Both are Compass strengths. Our highly automated solutions have helped many leading manufacturers remain highly competitive in tight margin manufacturing environments.
Our ability to double parent roll capacity is an innovation taken from our involvement with the paper industry. Eliminating butt rolls allows for faster run speeds.
Our exclusive Ellis Web Handling system has also proven itself in this market, simplifying the handling of heavy webs with side controls and easily accessed maintenance points.
